Opening In September

As you can imagine, COVID-19 has created challenges and obstacles for our church and preschool but we are happy to say that we WILL be opening our doors in the fall! We will be practicing a number of new and enhanced sanitation and health procedures to keep our students, staff, families, and church members SAFE. For more information on what we’re doing to keep your children safe, please call or email.

We are gearing up for the new school year and are so excited to see our students’ smiling faces in September!

Update on COVID-19

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and overwhelming support during recent months. We could not be prouder to be a part of the FUMC Preschool family!

Unfortunately, we did not get to finish the school year the way that we intended but, in the face of adversity, we are choosing to stay positive. We are choosing to persevere. Our students, staff, and church family members have stayed safe and healthy – and that’s all that matters!

Instead of a traditional graduation ceremony for our 4 year old’s, we will be holding a graduation parade through downtown Mt. Holly on Thursday June 4th. The celebration begins at 6:00 pm and we invite everyone to line the Main Street and cheer on our graduates – social distancing style!

Thankfully we’ll be hosting summer camp in June and July of 2020! Please see our Summer Camp page for more details!

“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5
